Improve work efficiency and operating skills of wood cnc router

After we purchased the wood cnc router, we all want to improve work efficiency through some operating skills. First of all, the editor of BCAM will tell you about the operation start-up process and precautions of the woodworking engraving machine.

  1. Machine check spindle cooling water;

  2, turn on the spindle at low speed and idling for 5 minutes;

   3. If the machine tool has not been running for a long time, the machine should be run-in at full stroke first, and the running-in time should be about half an hour.

   4. The new spindle motor needs to run in.

   Then, we should carefully check the spelling of the text in the woodworking engraving machine project. If possible, print it out and confirm with the customer.

  Finally, protect the carved objects: During the engraving process of the woodworking engraving machine, the carved objects are often misplaced, and we often worry about telling customers that their objects were damaged during the engraving process. Again, in order to avoid these problems, we can try the following operations:

   1. Check whether the pliers or chuck used for engraving of the engraving machine is wrong? At the same time, the wear of the pliers or chuck of the engraving machine will also cause the dislocation of the engraved object. If the pliers or chuck is too tight, the carved object will be ejected at the moment when the cutter head touches the object to be carved.

  2. For those carved objects with irregular shapes, the engraving machine seems to be tightly fixed on the surface, and it will shake back and forth when subjected to downward pressure. At this time, you can try to put some waste under the object to increase friction. The other is to keep the packaging that comes with the item. Although the JT2-0ZU has an irregular shape, the packaging it carries may be very regular and easy to be fixed, plus a small strap, which is irregular in shape. The object is easily fixed. Or try tools to fix the regular parts, and discard the irregular parts.

3. If the downward pressure on the object to be engraved is very large, consider whether you must use a tapered nose. If the diamond head of the woodworking engraving machine moves too much during the engraving process, the pressure on the side of the tool will cause the engraving The movement of things. If an incorrect diamond knife is used, it can also cause the same problem. A 90 or 100 degree diamond knife will dig into the material, causing the material to move during the engraving process.

The above is the method to increase the efficiency of the woodworking engraving machine. Doing these checks before use can not only improve our work efficiency, but also effectively ensure the service life of the machine. If you want to know more, you can continue to pay attention to us. If you If you have product requirements, you can leave a message to us, and we will reply to you as soon as possible. BCAM looks forward to your cooperation.

Applications of 5-Axis CNC Routers in Wind Turbine Blade Manufacturing

5-axis CNC routers are increasingly used in wind turbine blade manufacturing, particularly for edge trimming, root drilling, and mold production. Rather than replacing traditional processes, their value lies in improving accuracy, reducing manual intervention, and enabling consistent machining of complex composite geometries. This article outlines where 5-axis systems provide measurable benefits—and where careful process integration remains essential.

5-Axis vs. 3-Axis CNC Routers: When Does the Investment Actually Pay Off?

Most manufacturers don’t lose money because of the machine they buy—but because they choose the wrong one for their production reality. This guide breaks down the real differences between 3-axis and 5-axis CNC routers, not just in terms of movement, but in labor cost, setup time, tool performance, and error rates. If your workflow involves repeated setups, long tools, or complex geometries, the cost of staying with 3-axis may already exceed the investment in 5-axis.

Large-Scale Marine Mold Machining with 5-Axis CNC Routers

Large-scale marine mold machining requires more than size—it demands accuracy, stability, and process control. A Greek shipyard reduced mold production from weeks to days by adopting a DL Series 5-axis CNC router from BCAM CNC, achieving consistent surface quality, reliable 24/7 operation, and reduced manual finishing.
